Bright Future Lactation Resource Centre is receiving an increasing number of requests from parent-to-parent sites for us to post links promoting their sites. We began to do this, but we quickly found that it was drawing us away from our primary goal of "Supporting the People Who Support Breastfeeding." We operate this site primarily to provide information for the professionals, including dedicated and underpaid or unpaid peer counselors, who are looking for information and tools to better assist their clients.
Sophisticated parents interested in advanced information are certainly welcome to browse our site; however we will continue to focus our site on professionals. Naturally, we must exercise editorial control in this arena also, or it, too, could overextend our resources. |
