| Linda Smith's A Healthier Baby by Breastfeeding |
|
Because 83% of people are visual learners, the carefully-scripted and cross-cultural breastfeeding images are the primary message. Clear scenes show excellent positioning, infant feeding cues, and the baby spontaneously releasing the mother's breast, obviously satiated at the end of a feeding.
The narration supports the prime messages: how to make milk; how to breastfeed comfortably; and where to get help. The Spanish-language version features a different narrator and some Spanish voiceovers over originally English audio.
VHS Approx. 20 minutes. |

| Coach Smith's Eating Patterns Teaching Game Lecture Set |
|
Exciting classes improve learning. The Eating Patterns Game is designed to teach a core principle of breastfeeding in a new way. All the Games help people exercise their critical thinking skills and grasp underlying principles by putting the breastfeeding behavior in a new framework. Coach Smith says: "I've used this game in my presentations to childbirth classes, high school students, medical residents, hospital staff members, workshop attendees, and 1992 ILCA Conference participants. They're fun and keep students and colleagues coming back for more information on breastfeeding, which is precisely the point! "
